Maroubra Synagogue and Mount Sinai College "Running with the Rabbi"
Story
Message from Rabbi Yossi Friedman
Hello Everyone!!
Maroubra Synagogue and Mount Sinai College are very excited to be taking part in Pull On Your Socks 2017 in honour of a special young woman and mother from our community, Dalia Isman OBM.
We will be holding 4, pre-City2Surf, Sunday morning training sessions (followed by a delicious breakfast and 'thought for the week'!) and invite you to join us for what will be a fun, community building exercise as well as good preparation for the race day. We will be wearing McGrath Foundation Pink Socks for the training sessions as well as the race which can be purchased from the Shul office for $15 a pair. We have adults and children's sizes. Important note: This event is open for walkers, joggers and runners, everyone is welcome! Please join me!!!
We would be very appreciative if you’d consider supporting our Pull On Your Socks activity, by donating to our fundraising page by clicking the “Donate Now” button, so that together we can make a much bigger difference.
McGrath Breast Care Nurses have helped support more than 50,000 families experiencing breast cancer in Australia, providing free invaluable physical, psychological and emotional support from time of diagnosis and throughout treatment. But there’s still lots more to do for the McGrath Foundation to achieve their mission of ensuring every family affected by breast cancer has access to a breast care nurse – which is why I’m/we’re taking part this year.
As they say at the McGrath Foundation, together we can make a difference!
